As a class we were experimenting with shots and how to order them. Each group were given a number of which shot they would have to film and were given 3 mins to draft and film the whole thing. We as groups were given 2 characters which was formed of a possesed lady and a priest, we were then given 6 individual quick shots and told to create a short teaser trailer. Here is our order of shots without any additional editing of cpations and transitions.
This is one of our practise shots which we had to re-film due to the lack of lighting at the beggining and also too much lighting at the end. By experiementing with the lights we were able to see the importance of lighting especially with our genre of horror. We also filmed for too long which meant that we would have to cut the scene too.
Here is our final scene filmed as a group, within our 3 min limit we were very proud with the outcome although cutting and editing still occured it gave us the insight to what it could potentially be like on set. We also thought about the imprtance of documents such as the treatment, storyboard and shotting script which can all mean great shots and very quickly.
