We have thought about our genre, and because of it being horror there will be a lot of pressure to get the lighting correct. We thought that by taking some shots using different angles of lighting we would be able to get its full understanding and increase the quality of our shots.
We began by closing all of the windows, curtains and doors and turning of the lights and used the LED 16x9 to experiment different angles and positions of lighting. Our first shot instantly brought the flash up meaning that that the photo was very bright, we tried to change the mode of the camera and experienced the same thing.

After speaking to our teachers we were informed about shutter speed and ISO and how they effect the quality of the picture depending on the amount of light. At the begginging our ISO setting was 100 which meant that there wasnt enough light so by opening one of the curtains slightly and changing the IOS setting to 400 which means that our shots were much clearer and allowed us to get less blurry shots.

This overall experience has improved our photography skills and also highlighted the full impact on lighting and how hard it is to create the correct lighting effect for your shot.
