In order for us to remove any chance of infringing copyright laws we have decided to create our own background. For magazine features which we have analysed, its clear that the background is normally relevant to your work quite significantly which is why we chose to teabag a blank sheet. We have used a sepia colour throughout our project and its all very relevant as we are linking back to a very classic time period. We also used a section of the film poster as the background for our captions in the teaser which is something that we wanted to continue with although by changing it up we are using some variation.
Here are some of our initial sketches of our magazine feature, we were unsure of how to position our work although we wanted to use conventions which we have been taught previously. It took us several images before we got the appropriate shot which looked effective enough and represented us correctly.

Here is a mood board which was part of our initial research. By creating this we have compared loads of different genres, fonts, images and whole framework of creating a magazine feature. We had all been aware of magazines although the conventions of a feature magazine are slightly different which is why these are effective.
