PRO: Skills Development Equipment

On the day of our Filming, we set up our necessary equipment as follows although the one problem we faced was the fact that the ground we wanted to film on was uneven which meant that using a track would only make the shot unsteady. We attempted a hand held steady shot although it looked messy when watching it back, we also then tried zooming in which checking the focus although it was only looking unsteady and unprofessional.

As we wanted a low shot we knew that we would have to get down as low as possible to get the best shot possible although we had a tripod. Attempting to film with the tripod the right way up meant that the show was not as low as it needed to be, however by turing the tripod upside down and filming upside down after many attempts of getting the correct angle we finally got the shot that we were looking for after reversing the footage the right way up.

Here is some of the footage that we got from the hand held:

Here are a few pictures of the camera in use, we had to get into some difficult angles to ensure that we got the shot that we wanted:

With the Camera we faced some difficulty as sometimes the focus was not as on point as it should have been, which means that we would have to repeat shots here is one for an example:

The use of the the LED Lights we not as effective as we thought they would have been based on our previous experience. We filming throughout midday as to get the best light to work with. There was also need for reflectors to ensure that we could get a natural light if possible as is indicated slightly within this photograph.

The Tripod was a great companion to the camera on the day at the studio, as we used a huge variety of levels throughout the day. Here you will see that
