PRE: Logo Research

Logos are commonly used to present a production company and give them an image to be remembered by and to brand everything which they produce, although most production logo's are not specific to the genre of films they produce and some use various genres. There are some which are very famous and well known throughout the world and there is also small independent companies which have set themselves up, to both of which the logo is equally important as its a representation.

Here are some Logos which we have all seen at the beginning of films:






A normal Logo would commonly be a picture for any other company although being a production company they can take advantage of the editing including sound and motion. This computerised change has been huge in comparison to prints which were used beforehand, animation and graphic have enhanced extremely meaning that the the credits and title cards are much more distinctive.

As you can see this is the base or similar to what most production companies create, something short and sweet which brands your product essentially. Here is the more commonly known Universal Studios Production logo:
